Jason Schaefer

Mr. Schaefer is the Senior Managing Director and General Counsel. Prior to joining Warren Equity Partners, Mr. Schaefer was Partner and General Counsel at BC Partners, where he was responsible for legal oversight across firm, fund, and portfolio company matters. Earlier in his career, Mr. Schaefer served as General Counsel at Pegasus Capital Advisors and as Executive Vice President & General Counsel at Iconix Brand Group, advising on brand acquisitions and dispositions, governance, SEC reporting, capital markets transactions, and complex litigation.

Mr. Schaefer earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
